Clinical Trauma & PTSD (program)
Service Description
This therapy program is designed for individuals living with the effects of acute trauma, chronic trauma, or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Whether the trauma stemmed from a single shocking event (such as an accident, assault, or medical emergency), ongoing abuse, combat, neglect, or witnessing harm, the psychological impact can be deep and long-lasting. Common symptoms include flashbacks, nightmares, emotional numbing, hypervigilance, panic attacks, difficulty trusting, irritability, dissociation, or avoidance of reminders. Trauma can also lead to shame, identity disruption, and a loss of safety—both internally and in the world. The goal of this program is to help you process what happened, regain emotional safety, and restore control, dignity, and stability in your life. This evidence-based treatment program integrates several trauma-focused approaches, including: Psychoeducation about trauma responses (fight/flight/freeze/fawn), the nervous system, and how symptoms are survival strategies—not signs of weakness. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to safely reprocess traumatic memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and resolve stuck experiences. Trauma-informed CBT to challenge distorted trauma-related beliefs (e.g., “It was my fault,” “I’m not safe,” “I’ll never recover”) and build new meaning. Somatic regulation and grounding techniques to calm the body, reduce dissociation, and reconnect with physical safety. ACT and values work to move toward a life of purpose, even in the presence of emotional pain. Compassion-Focused Therapy to repair self-worth, reduce shame, and reconnect with an internal sense of care. Please note: This program is an approximate roadmap. Trauma healing is nonlinear, and treatment is always paced with your safety, readiness, and choice in mind.
