Service Description

This therapy program is designed for individuals experiencing burnout—a state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion caused by prolonged stress, over-responsibility, or living in survival mode for too long. Burnout can result from professional demands, caregiving roles, academic overload, or internal patterns like perfectionism, people-pleasing, and chronic self-neglect. You may feel drained, numb, cynical, irritable, or like you're just going through the motions. Common symptoms include brain fog, sleep issues, loss of motivation, reduced productivity, and feeling emotionally detached or “not yourself.” The goal of this program is to help you recover energy, rebuild boundaries, reconnect with meaning, and shift out of autopilot so you can live with more clarity, balance, and ease. This program draws from several integrative, evidence-based models, including: Psychoeducation about burnout, the stress response system, and how chronic overload rewires the brain and body. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to identify and reframe unhelpful beliefs around worth, over-functioning, and unrealistic self-demands. ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to help you reconnect with personal values and let go of rigid perfectionism or productivity-based identity. Somatic and nervous system regulation tools (e.g., breathwork, grounding, rest-based practices) to support physical and emotional recovery. EMDR therapy, when appropriate, to process deeper emotional wounds (e.g., performance trauma, unresolved grief, early pressure to succeed). Boundary and assertiveness training to help you prioritize rest, say no without guilt, and protect your energy moving forward. Please note: This is a flexible and personalized roadmap. Recovery from burnout requires compassion, not pressure—and we will move at your pace. Clients who complete this program often report renewed energy, improved sleep and mood, clearer boundaries, and a restored sense of identity beyond roles or responsibilities.
